I've been to a BSB concert...
It was rather fun. 'Cept the acoustics in the stadium (outdoors) were bad, so it wasn't too good. but that wasn't their fault. please don't hurt me. lol
lmfao. yeah... i dunno.. as much as i love bsb.. going to a concert of their's isn't the best experience. esp. when you are surrounded by a bunch of fuckin retards who don't understand the CONCEPT of a concert. you are there to listen. to music. not to fucking scream your heads off and essentially hear your own shrieking for 3+ hours, without stop, might i add... if they just wanted to scream and not listen.. how about you go put on the album in your room and have a ball.
i just wanted to grab a machete and go insane. *cough*
my ears are STILL ringing from that and other bsb events... yeah... i gotta go to the ear doctor.. seriously...
Yeah... there were some crazy people there. And my dad went too (LOL) which was hilarious. It was Sept. 22nd, 2001, and my dad thought the terrorists were gonna come get us so he started screaming when they came out, along with all the girls. hehehe. he thought they were dying or something. psh. but I agree. Concerts are for listening to other people for once...
my bsb concert was on 9/4/01... so yeah... didn't have the whole terrorist thing going... but my mom was like "what's wrong? why is everyone screaming.. and why are some of them crying????" LMFAOOO
haha! that's great. My mom was kind of like that too, they don't really remember. I mean, I'm sure my mother did that as well when she was our age. lol. I couldn't really see her doing that though... lol
lmfaooooo yeah.. i really don't think my mom was ever as crazy as me.. cuz.. uhh.. yeah... she was an actress back in the day and dated some of the big actors in hong kong in the 60s and 70s.. i really don't think she HAD to be crazy.. haha.. but yeah.. imagining her being like me.. weird.
wow, that's really cool! was she pretty well known then? It is weird imagining mothers to be like us... but then again, how must they feel? watching us make the same mistakes they did. Oh well... I think you're right though, I don't think my mother was as obsessive as me.
WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!! That would be so amazing!!!!!
Have you been to a concert? Most bands I like... have died. I would have loved to see Freddie Mercury of Queen. *sigh*
i've only been to a bsb concert, sadly.
yeah.. the thing about NYC is.. concerts sell out FAST. and if they're actually artists or bands that i WANT to see, well, those sell out in less than an hour usually... so yeah... that and i don't have the money and my parents think concerts are "dangerous". don't ask. ;oP
that makes sense. most tickets go fast. I wanted to see Jon Stewart when I was there this summer but you have to call in January basically to get tickets for June. crazy. of course, they're free, so it's even crazier.
I've only been to old bands, so I get tickets faster than the old people. muahahaha!
i think the only tv shows you can actually get tickets for are jimmy kimmel and carson daly... i've been to last call when ben jelen was on... was.bored.out.of.my.mind. but ben was pretty cool and... hot...
yeah, ben is hot but I thought you said he looked like a girl in real life! haha.
a taping does seem boring. But I'd go see Jon Stewart anyways.
I was just thinking the other day how much I would have loved to see Queen, or The Clash... But I saw the darkness last week! That was amazing! I've been to a few gigs. How bout you (Except for BSB, who rock! ;)
many old bands. ooo the Clash! London Calling - love it. I've seen a bunch of bands you've probably never heard of: the Monkees, Herman's Hermits, the Union Gap, the Turtles, the Buckinghams, and the Grass Roots.
old bands are cheaper too! whoot! it's awesome that you got to see the Darkness... how was it? (besides amazing, lol)
I've heard of the Monkees, but none of the others.......sadly, my musical education is not very good.... The darkness were just as you'd expect, Justin was mad, it was like talking to a crazy friend, and the rest, although flamboyant, just got on with playing...
they're not that well known anymore, I don't really blame you, hehe.
that sounds really cool. crazy friend. LOL...
I like your new icon too though, even though its really sad...
You mean what concert tour? I dunno. I think it was after the... third album came out? (was that Black and Blue? can't remember) But I think they did sing some songs from that.
hmm.. i see... so did you want to go to the concert or did someone make you go? haha
Actually, my neighbour had free tickets from his job, and since he only had sons he offered them to my sister and I. We weren't crazy fans, we had the CDs and stuff so we both took some friends and our parents (lol) and went. I guess I did want to go. I'd go again. I love concerts. I love the atmosphere, even if I would like to hurt most of the audience. hehe.
awwwww lucky bum. what did your neighbor do that gives him free concert tickets???
yeah.. i never got to buy them.. or buy them on ebay.. or win them through the radio or any contest i could apply to online.. and believe me.. i entered EVERY.SINGLE.ONE.
but.. hold and behold.. one day.. over the summer.. after the whole rehab thing began.. and the tour was re-scheduled.. i recieved two free tickets for the 9/4 show.. with nothing but a letter or anything.. i was like.. how'd i get these??? but i GOT THEM. so i really didn't care.. hahahaha
wow, awesome! you just... got them! :D
My neighbour worked for Coke (I think) and he got tickets to give out for customers who bought an amount of something (coke, probably, lol) and he couldn't get rid of these so he gave them to us. He also gave us Britney Spears tickets, but THANK GOD we couldn't go to thank. I would've jumped off of... something... if I was made to sit through something like that...
