I wonder how their album's gonna fare. I mean, most of their fans from then have grown up, hopefully their haven't lost their appeal. Or they may appeal to a whole other group now.
well.. i really don't care if they can't break their previous records.. or meet them for that matter.. cuz... well.. obviously, the music industry isn't what it used to be what with dl'ing, piracy and itunes and all that stuff...
but yeah.. as long as bsb was able to maintain some hardcore fans like me i'll be happy. at least i'll know i'm in good company with fans that aren't teenies... *cough* hopefully, at least.
hehe... teenies. I used to be one. *sigh* how I've changed. I think the music industry has also changed in the fact that there's most of a focus on rap and teen girl pop (a la Hilary Duff *vomits*) and the boy bands never really got any respect. they're more of a punch line though. Hopefully BSB evolved into something more.
ehh bsb was always more than just a boyband to me.. they fought for their songs to be on albums.. the songs they wrote and co-produced... and they always fought to be able to play instruments during their shows and actually just sit down and show their singing talent rather than dance throughout the whole entire show.. so yeah...
i dunno.. the music industry has been crap for most of the 00's.. i haven't listened to radio regularly in about 2 years.. so i really don't know or.. frankly.. give a shit about new music...
if there really is someone good.. i'll care.. but.. ehh.. the last new artist i fell in love with was probably gavin degraw...
The only "current" bands/singers I even have CDs of are Ben Jelen and Franz Ferdinand. But some of those indie rockers can be good, but they are hard to come by. I haven't listened to the radio in a while either. With CDs you can control all the songs you wanna hear anyways. ;)
I hope for them that they do well. I always thought they deserved a bit more respect than they were given. we'll see how the next album is.
yeah.. i was on the ben jelen street team and all that shit... but.. i never got his album cuz.. dude.. i couldn't find it the week it came out.. and after that.. i was like mehhh.. cuz i saw him live and... he wasn't like.. blown-me-off-my-feet-great... but yeah.. i did love him for a while.. hahaha
wow... see, in New York you have the opportunity to do so much more stuff, meet more people, etc. *grumbles* I hate Chicago. it's like a NY copy, but not as cool or anything. and more murders (murder capital of the world right here, whoot!) lol... I heard a couple songs and got his album. it sounds bad, but I use it when I want to fall asleep. hehe
hahaha.. yeah.. the only fairly good song was come on... i kinda liked give it all away... ehh wells...
hey! you have oprah! lmfao.
god, oprah. I think her ticket sales lines are backed up for like 8 years. seriously. the only reason I'd go see her is to get a free car. lol. and i don't think she'll do that again. psh. besides, I'd rather have one Jon Stewart or one Conan O'Brien for a billion Oprahs. hehe
woah... i wouldn't have expected her ticket orders were so.. extreme...
ahh wells.. you can always plan a trip to NYC.. hahaha.. be sure to get your conan and jon tickets before you get your airplane ticket though haha
I'll be in NYC this Christmas, but I don't think many shows are taping anywho. Oh well... Jon's contract just got lengthened... he'll be the host of the Daily Show now at least untill 2008 so he'll cover that election as well. I'm pretty sure I'll get a chance sometime... *crosses fingers*
haha well.. good luck with that!!!
thanks... would you ever want to see another show like this after Carson Daly? lol
